For really excellent breadmaking, good quality strong flour with a high level of protein is essential.

Our Freebake strong flours are the same specification as those supplied to professional bakers, and both the Strong White and Strong Wholemeal are perfect for use in conventional baking or breadmaking machines and are ideal for use 50/50 with freebake concentrates.

Freebake Strong White is a Bakers Patent white flour milled to give excellent crust and a soft, white crumb.

Both Strong White and Wholemeal are milled from high quality English and Canadian wheats, with a high proportion of Canadian wheat to give strength and high water absorption.

We supply this professional grade breadmaking flour packed in 10kg, 3.5kg and 1.5kg paper sacks.

If used for straight white or wholemeal bread we recommend the use of freebake bread improver for optimum results.
